
Current Issues in Chemical Science Discussed at ENU Conference



















On April 13, 2026, the Department of Chemistry at the Institute of Natural Sciences, L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, hosted the Conference "ǴYLYM JÁNE BІLІM – 2026" under section 3.7, titled "Current Issues in Chemical Science." During the conference, 21 oral presentations were delivered, including 2 online reports (from a master's student from KazNZhPU, Almaty, and a young scientist-lecturer from S. Utebayev Atyrau University of Oil and Gas, Atyrau). The conference was attended by students, master's students, young scientists, and faculty members from the Department of Chemistry. The event addressed current issues in chemical science, presented results of modern scientific research, and showcased contemporary opportunities for research activities in the field of chemistry. As part of the discussion on current issues in chemistry education, studies were presented on the application of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles for students with special educational needs, the potential use of digital simulators, and the integration of innovative technologies with AI.
