Training negotiations “Establishment of a Joint University of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the People’s Republic of China”

On April 22, 2026, at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, at the Department of International Law, training negotiations were held in Group MP-32 on the topic “Establishment of a Joint University of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the People’s Republic of China.” During the negotiations, the parties discussed issues related to the university’s location, accreditation, dual degree programs, scientific cooperation, and academic mobility of students and faculty. As a result, the parties signed a memorandum of cooperation. This format of seminars enabled students to practically apply their knowledge of how negotiations function and the roles and activities of the participants involved.
