Scientists from Azerbaijan Visit the Faculty of Architecture and Construction at ENU

In line with the university's strategy to strengthen international academic cooperation and integrate leading foreign practices, the Faculty of Architecture and Construction at L.N. Gumilyov ENU hosted scientists from the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction: Associate Professors Gulnar Feyziyeva (PhD) and Mirfatma Javadova (PhD). During the visit, productive working negotiations were held with the Dean of the Faculty, E.E. Sabitov; the Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, A.E. Yeleussinova; the Head of the Department of Industrial and Civil Engineering Technology, L.B. Aruova; and the faculty's teaching staff.

A highlight of the visit was a series of lectures delivered by the guest scientists for students of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction. The lectures garnered significant interest from the audience, with students fully engaged in the process, actively participating in discussions and asking questions regarding current trends in the industry. Alongside the lectures, the participants discussed opportunities for joint research projects and the organization of academic mobility. Particular emphasis was placed on research internship programs for Master's students enrolled in the "Construction" (7М07329) and "Engineering Systems and Networks" (7М07352) educational programs. The parties focused on training world-class engineering specialists, shared experiences in implementing international projects, and outlined paths for expanding cooperation in civil engineering—marking a significant step in integrating the scientific potential of both universities.
