Roundtable on the topic “Issues of Kazakh Linguistics: Master’s Research”

On April 5, 2026, an international roundtable on the topic “Issues of Kazakh Linguistics: Master’s Research” was held at the Department of Kazakh Linguistics at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, organized by Dr. G.O. Syzdykova, who is responsible for the university’s master’s program. The scientific event was aimed at exchanging international experiences on the research activities of master's students. 

The roundtable was chaired by the Head of the Department, PhD in Philology K.T. Bibekov. During the event, the participants comprehensively discussed research in the international educational space and the relevant areas of modern Kazakh linguistics. Specifically, M.E. Adilov, a graduate of both Eurasian National University and Ege University in Turkey, and PhD holder, as well as master’s students D. Nurgogha and B. Bekbolat from Ankara and Ege universities, shared insights into the peculiarities of foreign academic experience and philological research. In addition, first-year master’s students from Eurasian National University, A. Zheenbekova, A. Gabitova, D. Meiranbek, and N. Alihan, exchanged views on the directions of master’s research in Kazakh linguistics and their connection with current scientific paradigms, based on their own research works. The roundtable contributed to strengthening international scientific ties between the master's students of Eurasian National University and those from foreign universities.
