The international educational project has been successfully completed at ENU

At the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, at the Department of Oriental Studies of the Faculty of International Relations, a ceremonial closing of the international educational project “Eurasian Community: Identity in the 21st Century” took place. The project was implemented with the support of the Eurasia Foundation and became an important milestone in the development of academic cooperation and the strengthening of the university’s international educational ties.
During the Spring Semester of 2026, the program brought together students of Oriental Studies from the Faculty of International Relations and faculty members to explore key issues of Eurasian identity formation, intercultural interaction, and global transformations of the modern world. The course was distinguished by its interdisciplinary approach and included lectures by leading experts in philosophy, politics, culture, and international relations. This enabled participants to develop a comprehensive and critical understanding of processes taking place in the Eurasian space.
Following the completion of the project, an award ceremony was held, during which active participants were presented with certificates of successful course completion. The certificates were awarded by Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Ardak Beisenbay, who emphasized the high level of student engagement, their academic interest, and the importance of such initiatives in shaping a modern educational environment.
The project received high recognition from both participants and organizers. It served as an important platform for fostering academic dialogue, knowledge exchange, and strengthening intercultural communication among youth. Such initiatives play a key role in preparing a new generation of specialists capable of working effectively in a globalized world and contributing to the sustainable development of the Eurasian region.
The completion of the project marked not only the conclusion of the work carried out, but also a starting point for new joint initiatives aimed at strengthening international academic partnerships.
