
ENU and Osh State University Strengthen Partnership in the Field of Philological Education









On April 27-28, 2026, a working meeting was held at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University with representatives of Osh State University as part of ongoing efforts to develop international cooperation.
The delegation from Osh State University arrived to discuss the progress of jointly implemented educational projects with the Department of Russian Philology at ENU. The discussions took place at the Department of Russian Philology under the leadership of the Head of the Department, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Kadisha Nurgali.
The OshSU delegation included Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Dilaram Madaminova, as well as Senior Lecturers Suyumkan Abdramanova and Mayramkan Kurbanalieva.
The main objective of the visit was to discuss and approve the content of joint educational programs for the 2026-2027 academic year at the bachelor’s and master’s levels in the field of “Russian Language and Literature.” Particular attention was given to the implementation of dual degree programs aimed at enhancing the quality of education and expanding students’ academic mobility.
During the meeting, the parties also explored prospects for further academic and research collaboration, including the development of joint projects, faculty exchange, and participation in international scholarly initiatives.
An important aspect of the visit was the strengthening of cultural and humanitarian ties between the two universities. Traditional and artistic items reflecting the national culture of the Kyrgyz Republic were presented as a gift to the Center of Kyrgyz Language and Culture at ENU, symbolizing unity and partnership.
The meeting reaffirmed the mutual commitment of both institutions to deepening cooperation and implementing joint educational initiatives that contribute to the advancement of philological education in an international context.
