Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education “Altai State University” (https://www.asu.ru/) is one of the major educational centres of Altai Krai of the Russian Federation (Barnaul), with which in 2020 the Non-Profit Joint Stock Company “L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University” (https://enu.kz/ru/) concluded a cooperation agreement in the educational and scientific research spheres.

In March–April 2026, students of the Faculty of Law of L.N. Gumilyov ENU took part in the international competition for the best student research paper on the topic “Private Law: Modern Challenges and Development Trends”, held by the Civil Law Department of the Law Institute of Altai State University ().

The competition covered various areas of civil law science. Under the scientific supervision of Candidate of Juridical Sciences, Associate Professor S.B. Zharkenova and Doctor of Juridical Sciences, Associate Professor Zh.I. Ibragimov, the students were able to demonstrate their scientific views.

According to the results of the competition, students of L.N. Gumilyov ENU won prize places in the following sections:
