ENU students are leaders of international PR competitions in Bishkek and Krasnoyarsk

The Department of Media Communications and Public Relations at the Higher School of Journalism and Social Sciences of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University has once again demonstrated its high potential on the international professional stage. Students of the "Public Relations" educational program returned with triumphant victories from prestigious communication forums in Central Asia and Russia, strengthening the university's international reputation.
The systematic participation of departmental students in international professional competitions has fostered a sustained dynamic of high achievement. This year, representing the university under the guidance of Gulnazym Algalieva, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Media Communications and Public Relations, was the "NOMAD" team, consisting of: Aziya Yeleuzhan, Alika Yeleuzhan, Aruzhan Murzagalieva, Symbat Orynbassar, and Zhannur Magzumova.
It is essential to highlight the long-term contribution of Gulnazym Algalieva in preparing student delegations for international competitions. The synergy of the mentor's extensive practical experience and the department's fundamental theoretical school allowed the "NOMAD" team to continue its winning streak this season.
The competition season for the "NOMAD" team began with the international olympiad held as part of the National Festival of Advertising and Public Relations "Zhoogazyn-2026" in Bishkek. Demonstrating high professionalism and creativity in solving practical cases, ENU students secured 1st Place. This victory reaffirmed the international competitiveness of the quality of education provided by ENU.
Following the festival, an official letter of appreciation was sent to the Rector of the L.N. Gumilyov ENU, Yerlan Sydykov, from the Rector of the J. Balasagyn Kyrgyz National University, D.Chontoev. The letter expressed gratitude for the university's active participation and specifically noted the high level of professional training, creative approach, and sincere interest of ENU students in the development of the communications sphere. This recognition serves as a testament to the strengthening academic and professional ties between the two leading universities.
Following their success in Kyrgyzstan, the team participated in one of Russia’s largest professional events—the international festival "PR and Advertising Week on the Yenisei 2026" (YarPR 2026), where they earned a comprehensive array of prestigious awards.
