
The Department of Tourism of ENU organized a tourist route to Bayanaul

As part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University and the 200th anniversary of Bayanaul, the Department of Tourism developed and implemented a 2-day tourist and excursion route titled “Babalar Zholy.”
The route was aimed at exploring the tourism potential of the Bayanaul State National Natural Park as a unique destination of historical, cultural, and nature-based tourism. Participants had the opportunity to explore the rich natural heritage of the region, its iconic landscapes, and historical and cultural sites.
During the tour, key attractions were visited, including the mausoleum and museum of Mashkhur Zhusup Kopeev, sacred springs, as well as the main natural landmarks of Bayanaul - Lake Sabyndykol, Lake Zhasybay, the “Konyr Aulie” cave, the “Kempirtas” rock formations, and other tourist locations.
The implementation of this route made a significant contribution to the development of tourism practice and the promotion of domestic tourism. The tour brought together participants from various professional fields who joined based on submitted applications, fostering knowledge exchange and expanding professional networks. Participants gained practical insights into organizing tourist routes, evaluating regional tourism potential, and applying modern approaches to developing competitive tourism products.
