А scientific seminar titled “Scientific Article”

On April 25, 2026, a scientific seminar titled “Scientific Article” was held at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (Academic Building No. 321, Abai Lecture Hall) as part of the “Academic Writing” course, in both offline and online formats. The seminar was attended by doctoral students and young researchers. The session was conducted by researcher-lecturer, Doctor of Philology, Professor Zhanat Aymukhambet, who explained how to choose a research topic, formulate a proper research question, define the structure of a paper, and follow submission procedures for publication. 

The key issue in preparing a scientific article-selecting a topic, identifying a clear research object, and establishing a systematic direction-was discussed in detail. It was also noted that maintaining an academic writing style and choosing appropriate research methods are essential for meeting publication standards. Detailed information on the structure of a paper, formatting, references, citations, and citation rules was provided by senior lecturer, PhD, and seminar moderator Aslan Alimbayev.
