“ENU Kids – Art space” Art Therapy Event Held at ENU

L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University hosted the “ENU Kids – Art Space” event organized by the Center for Inclusive Support and the Center for Psychological Support. The project brought together university employees raising children with special educational needs.
The main goal of the event was to strengthen the emotional bond between parents and children, provide psychological support through creative activities, and promote family values.
Opening the event, Yerkhan Ordabay, Head Supervisor of the Center for Inclusive Support, emphasized the importance of creating a comfortable and supportive environment for families raising children with special needs.
As part of the program, Samal Togym, Head of the Center for Psychological Support, conducted psychological exercises aimed at building a friendly and trusting atmosphere among participants.
One of the key highlights of the event was an art therapy workshop led by Akmaral Saktaganova, an art teacher from Kindergarten No. 1 “Baiterek” under the Akimat of Astana. Parents and children took part in creative drawing activities, expressing their emotions through art. This interaction helped strengthen mutual understanding, trust, and emotional connection within the families.
At the end of the event, Vice-Rector for Social and Infrastructure Development Lyazzat Tolegenkyzy presented letters of appreciation to the employees, while children received certificates worth 10,000 tenge.
The organizers expressed special gratitude to Zhuldyz Tanatar, Director of “Socium Pit” LLP, and entrepreneur Aigul Toleuova, founder of the “Bayan” children’s store, for their sponsorship support.
The “ENU Kids – Art Space” project created a warm environment for family interaction and creative self-expression, leaving participants with positive emotions and memorable experiences.
