
«Eco water zone» Clean Drinking Water Area Opened at ENU

As part of the 30th anniversary celebration of L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, the Higher School of Education initiated the grand opening of the “Eco water zone” clean drinking water area in Academic Building No. 4.
The project is an important environmental initiative implemented in collaboration with a university alumnus. Its main goal is to provide students and staff with high-quality filtered drinking water, reduce the use of plastic bottles, and promote environmental awareness and culture.
The opening ceremony was attended by the university administration, faculty members, students, and guests.
During the event, Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Internationalization Duman Aitmagambetov and Director of the Higher School of Education Baubek Somzhurek delivered congratulatory speeches, emphasizing the importance of the project. The speakers highlighted the significance of developing environmental responsibility and a culture of conscious consumption among young people.
“Eco water zone” is a project aimed at supporting the university’s sustainable development principles, promoting environmentally responsible behavior, and fostering a culture of accessible clean drinking water.
