On May 13, 2026, the Faculty of International Relations at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University hosted the second stage of the video competition "Our Choice is the East."

On May 13, 2026, the Faculty of International Relations at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University hosted the second stage of the video competition "Our Choice is the East." 
The event was aimed at popularizing Eastern languages and culture, as well as developing the creative potential of students.

During the competition, participants presented original video works dedicated to the traditions, culture, and modern development of Eastern countries. 
Each team demonstrated an original approach, creativity, and a high level of preparation, which resulted in the presentations generating great interest among the audience and the jury members.

At the opening ceremony, the organizers and faculty members congratulated the participants on the start of the competition, wishing them inspiration, confidence, and successful performances. 
It was noted that such events help to strengthen young people's interest in studying Eastern languages and the cultural heritage of the East.

During the competition, students were able to demonstrate their creativity, teamwork skills, and ability to convey deep meaning through modern media formats. 
The videos presented were notable for their content, artistic design, and technical quality.

According to the results of the competition:

1st place — Elnara Elubayeva
2nd place — the "Japanese Gang" team, captain Damira Turmukhambetova
3rd place — "East or Beast" team, captain Amira Omarova

At the end of the event, the winners were awarded diplomas and commemorative certificates. 
The competition organizers expressed their gratitude to all participants for their enthusiasm, initiative, and contribution to the development of student creativity.
