
“ECO WATER ZONE” Clean Drinking Water Area Opened at ENU Higher School of Education

Today, as part of the 30th anniversary of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, the Higher School of Education officially opened the “ECO WATER ZONE” clean drinking water area in Academic Building No. 4.
This project is an important environmental initiative implemented in collaboration with a university alumnus. The main goal of the project is to provide students and staff with high-quality filtered drinking water, reduce the use of plastic bottles, and promote environmental awareness and culture.
The ceremonial event was attended by the university administration, faculty members, students, and guests. During the event, Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Internationalization Duman R. Aitmagambetov and Director of the Higher School of Education Baubek Zhumashuly Somzhurek performed congratulatory speeches and highlighted the importance of the project. In their speeches, the speakers emphasized the importance of fostering environmental responsibility and a culture of conscious consumption among young people.
“ECO WATER ZONE” is a project aimed at supporting the university’s sustainable development principles, promoting environmental care, and developing a culture of accessible clean drinking water.
