
PhD Degree in Tourism Officially Awarded at ENU

An official ceremony for awarding the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) diploma in Tourism to Amina Berdibekova was held at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
It should be noted that on April 10 of this year, Amina Berdibekova successfully defended her doctoral dissertation entitled “Development of the Tourism Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan.” The dissertation defense was conducted in English.
The scientific supervisor of the research was Lyailya Mutaliyeva, while the international consultant was Nutfillo Ibragimov.
The research focused on the current state of the tourism industry in the Republic of Kazakhstan, its potential, and prospects for further development. The dissertation addressed issues related to improving the competitiveness of the tourism sector, enhancing tourism development mechanisms, and promoting Kazakhstan as an attractive tourist destination at the international level.
Following the defense, the dissertation received high praise from the committee members, who highlighted the relevance of the topic, as well as the scientific novelty and practical significance of the research.
