
Research Visit to Ege University

From May 10 to 18, 2026, M.K. Akhmetova, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Acting Professor of the Department of Kazakh Linguistics, and Principal Investigator of the AP23488671 research project titled “Linguistic Manifestations of Ethnocultural Consciousness of Kazakh Youth,” conducted a research visit to the Institute of Turkic World Studies at Ege University.
During the visit, productive meetings were held with Professors Z. Kaymaz, I. Şahin, R. Muhammed, Professor M. Öner of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature, and other scholars. The participants discussed the progress of the research project, prospects for future academic cooperation, and current issues in psycholinguistic research.
Special attention was given to the methodological and theoretical foundations of compiling an associative dictionary, and the research findings were successfully presented and discussed.
M.K. Akhmetova also delivered a lecture for faculty members and doctoral students on the topic “Linguistic Manifestations of Ethnocultural Consciousness: An Empirical Study.”
