The Department of Translation Theory and Practice Hosted Participants of the International Exchange Program

Within the framework of the international exchange program, the Department of Translation Theory and Practice   of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University welcomed lecturers from Azerbaijan University of Languages, Aygun Soltanzade and Kamala Gurbanli. During their visit, the guests became acquainted with the department’s activities and educational process, and took part in academic meetings and seminars. A meeting was held with the Head of the Department of Translation Theory and Practice   Diana Muratovna Akizhanova, during which issues of international cooperation, research activities, and prospects for academic mobility were discussed. The ADU lecturers also met with students, introduced the Azerbaijan University of Languages, and spoke about the educational and cultural life of Azerbaijan. In addition, as part of the visit, a round table in English was organized on the topics “Turkey and Kazakhstan Relations” and “Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan Relations,” where participants delivered presentations and discussed current issues of international cooperation. The Department of Translation Theory and Practice   expresses its gratitude to the ADU lecturers for their visit, professional exchange of experience, and contribution to strengthening international academic relations.
