Students of the 6B05209 – Geography Educational Program Visited “Astana Yutaria LTD” Production and Innovation Company

On May 26, 2026, students of the 6B05209 – Geography educational program of the Department of Physical and Economic Geography at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University visited “Astana Yutaria LTD” production and innovation company as part of their practical training.

During the excursion, the students became familiar with the internal operations of the enterprise and the main stages of producing workwear, medical clothing, and other textile products. Company specialists introduced the students to the history of the enterprise, its main areas of activity, modern workshops, and technical equipment.

The students observed the full production cycle, from fabric cutting to the release of finished products. The operation of automated machines and sewing lines, the organization of the production process, and quality control practices attracted particular interest.

For geography students, the visit had important practical value. It helped connect theoretical knowledge in industrial geography, labor resources, factors of enterprise location, and regional economic development with real production processes.

The educational visit broadened the students’ professional outlook and contributed to the development of their skills in economic and geographical analysis of industrial processes.
