ENU staff improved their qualifications in the field of career counseling

Employees of the Career and Business Partnership Department of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University - expert Zamzagul Tuspekova and Chief Specialist Moldir Zholdasgaliyeva - participated in the six-day intensive training program entitled “Modern Career Counseling and Career Center Management,” organized by Nazarbayev University.

The program brought together specialists from the career centers of 14 higher education institutions across Kazakhstan. Participants discussed modern approaches to preparing students and graduates for the labor market, career counseling tools, key labor market trends, and opportunities for integrating artificial intelligence technologies into career services.

During the training, international and national experts shared their experience in career development theories, labor market analysis, skills assessment, identifying students’ career potential, and personalizing learners’ career pathways.

At the final stage of the program, participants presented projects aimed at improving the operations of their universities’ career centers. These projects received high praise from the expert community.

The program contributed to the development of university career services, the exchange of best practices, the strengthening of cooperation among higher education institutions, and the enhancement of career support systems for students and graduates.

As a result of the program, participants strengthened their professional competencies and enhanced their qualifications in the fields of career counseling and career center management. Upon successful completion of the training, the employees of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University were awarded professional development certificates.
