Doctoral Students Presented Their Research Progress Reports

On May 28, 2026, the Department of Physical and Economic Geography of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University held a meeting to review the research progress reports of third-year doctoral students for the sixth semester of the 2025–2026 academic year.

During the meeting, the doctoral students presented the main results and findings of their dissertation research. Faculty members discussed the content of the studies, research methodologies, and scientific significance of the results, while providing recommendations for further improvement of dissertation work and the preparation of scientific publications.

Particular attention was paid to enhancing the quality of research activities and preparing for the pre-defense of doctoral dissertations. The Head of the Department, Aigul Yessengaliyevna Yeginbayeva, informed the doctoral students about the requirements and deadlines related to the pre-defense process.

The meeting assessed the progress of the doctoral research projects and identified directions for their further development and improvement.
