
Students of the Department of Mathematical and Computer Modeling at ENU successfully represented Kazakhstan in Moscow

The “Gold Starts” team, consisting of 3rd-year students of the Department of Mathematical and Computer Modeling at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, successfully represented the university at the IV International Student Olympiad-Festival in Statistics held in Moscow at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.
The team included Leila Belgibayeva, Zhuldyz Mukhtar, and Laura Shaymanova. The scientific supervision was provided by Associate Professor Gauhar Abdenova.
As a result of the competition, the students were awarded certificates and diplomas in the nominations “For Professional Breakthrough” and “Jury Sympathy,” demonstrating a high level of training in the educational program 6B05404 – “Statistics.” Letters of appreciation were also presented to ENU Rector Erlan Sydykov and team supervisor Gauhar Abdenova.
The team’s success confirmed the high quality of training at the Department of Mathematical and Computer Modeling and the university’s contribution to the development of national education and science.
