
ENU Signs Memorandum with a Leading Hong Kong Institute

On June 2, 2026, a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Cooperation between the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (ENU) and the Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi) took place in Astana. The event was held as part of a visit by a major delegation from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
The ceremony was hosted at The Ritz-Carlton, Astana, serving as an official highlight of the business visit led by John Lee, the Chief Executive of Hong Kong. The delegation comprised over 40 prominent business and professional figures from Hong Kong, alongside approximately 30 representatives from mainland China.
Duman Aitmagambetov, Member of the Board and Vice-Rector for Strategic Development and Internationalization, represented the Eurasian National University at the event.
The signing of this memorandum unlocks fresh opportunities for academic cooperation between ENU and THEi, focusing on:
- Academic mobility programs for students and faculty.
- Joint educational and research initiatives.
- Knowledge exchange in training highly qualified specialists.
