
Academic Mobility at the Department of History of Kazakhstan of ENU: Students from China, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia

The Department of History of Kazakhstan at the Faculty of History of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University continues to strengthen international academic cooperation through its academic mobility program. During the fall semester of the 2025–2026 academic year, international students and young researchers from partner universities joined the department’s educational and research activities.
Under the academic mobility framework, participants are studying within the educational programs 6B02203 – History, 7M02203 – History, and 8D02203 – History. Among the participants are Zarina Ashirova and Merim Turdubatova from Osh University (Kyrgyzstan), Asan Zhakupov, a master’s student from Lomonosov Moscow State University (Russia), and Gayu Xue, a doctoral student from Shanghai University (China). International students actively engage in classes, research seminars, and academic projects, contributing to the development of a multicultural academic environment. Their participation enhances the international dimension of the university’s educational programs and strengthens ENU’s academic partnerships with foreign universities.

The academic mobility program at the Department of History of Kazakhstan remains an important part of the university’s internationalization strategy, creating new opportunities for professional development, academic exchange, and joint research initiatives.
