
International Round Table “Preserving the Memory of the Events of the Great Patriotic War” in Cooperation with the Ural State Pedagogical University

On May 21, 2026, an international round table entitled “Preserving the Memory of the Events of the Great Patriotic War” was held online in cooperation with the Ural State Pedagogical University. Scholars, lecturers, master’s students, and students from Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, and Belarus took part in the event.
Professor G.T. Musabalina delivered a presentation entitled “Memoirs and Letters of Kazakhstanis as Sources for the Study of the Belarusian Partisan Movement during the Great Patriotic War (1941–1944),” presenting research findings related to the preservation of historical memory and the study of wartime sources.
Master’s student A. Dosan presented a report entitled “The Memoirs of Adi Sharipov as a Source for Preserving the Historical Memory of the Great Patriotic War,” highlighting the significance of Adi Sharipov’s memoir heritage in the study of wartime history and the participation of Kazakhstanis in the partisan movement. The research was supervised by Professor G.T. Musabalina.
