On June 3, 2026, third-year students of the 6B05209 – Geography educational program of the Department of Physical and Economic Geography at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University visited Kazakhstan Paramount Engineering LLP in Astana as part of their practical training.
Before the excursion began, the students received a safety briefing and were provided with personal protective equipment. During the visit, they learned about the history of the company, its main areas of activity, and the specifics of armored vehicle production.
The students were shown the main production areas where machinery is manufactured and assembled. They were also introduced to samples of armored vehicles produced by the enterprise. Company staff provided information on production stages, technical characteristics of the vehicles, and their intended use.
The visit broadened students’ understanding of industrial geography, factors influencing the location of manufacturing enterprises, labor resources, and modern technologies used in Kazakhstan’s defense industry. The practical training connected theoretical knowledge with the operations of a real enterprise and supported the economic-geographical analysis of production processes.
