
Second-year students from the ENU Psychology Department began their professional internship

On June 1, 2026, the Psychology Department at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University held an introductory conference on the internship for students in the 6B03103 Psychology program.
The conference was attended by department faculty, internship supervisors, including those from internship sites, an e-learning support engineer for Smart ENU, and students beginning their internship. The main goal of the event was to familiarize students with the internship program, its goals, objectives, deadlines, and final reporting requirements.
During the meeting, candidate of sociological sciences G.Kh. Ganieva, PhD, responsible for internship at the department, explained in detail the organization of practical activities, the requirements for maintaining a diary/report on the internship, as well as issues of professional ethics and the responsibility of future psychologists. Particular attention was paid to the importance of practical training as a crucial stage of professional training, aimed at consolidating theoretical knowledge and developing professional competencies.
Representatives of the practical training centers were Ya. A. Borisov, Head of the Psychological Work Department of the KSU "Center for Psychological Support," K. A. Erkinova, Chief Specialist of the ENU Center for Inclusive Support, and K. V. Dukart, a representative of the "Scouts of the Great Steppe" NGO.
At the end of the conference, students received answers to their questions and the necessary recommendations for successful completion of their practical training.
The Department of Psychology wishes the students success in mastering practical skills, professional growth, and achieving their goals during their practical training.
