The ENU Alumni Association Opens Its Branch in China

The Alumni Association of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University continues to expand its international network.
A branch of the ENU Alumni Association has officially started operating in Shanghai, China. The new representative office will bring together ENU graduates living and working in China and will serve as a platform for strengthening professional and academic ties, exchanging experience, and implementing joint initiatives.
It is worth noting that L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University became the first higher education institution in Kazakhstan to obtain a license to conduct educational activities in the People's Republic of China. This achievement reflects the growing international reputation of ENU and the strengthening of cooperation between Kazakhstan and China in the fields of education and science.
The expansion of ENU's activities in China is a natural continuation of the large-scale academic cooperation between the two countries. In Tianjin, ENU and Nankai University launched joint master's degree programs in Economics and International Business and Strategic Trade Control. This marks the first experience of implementing Kazakhstan-China joint educational programs for 180 Chinese master's students.
The project, which was initiated in 2023 and later accredited by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, has become an important milestone in strengthening educational and scientific cooperation between Kazakhstan and China. Therefore, the opening of the ENU Alumni Association branch in Shanghai creates new opportunities for consolidating the alumni community and further expanding the University's international presence in China.
