
ENU Student Wins Second-Prize Medal at the Huawei ICT Competition Global Final in China

Madiyar Mereyev, a third-year student of the Department of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications at the Institute of Physical and Technical Sciences of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, won a Second-Prize Medal in the Network track at the Huawei ICT Competition Global Final 2025–2026 held in Shenzhen, China.
The competition, recognized as one of the largest international events in the field of information and communication technologies, brought together around 170 teams from more than 70 countries. Madiyar represented the Republic of Kazakhstan as a member of the national team consisting of three participants.
This outstanding achievement reflects the student's strong professional training, in-depth knowledge, and practical skills in networking technologies.
Madiyar was prepared for the international final under the supervision of Ulan Yesenzholov, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications.
