
Successful Defense of Graduation Theses by Students of the Educational Programs “Pedagogy and Psychology” and “Social Pedagogy”

From June 2 to June 6, 2026, the Department of Pedagogy conducted the defense of graduation theses submitted by students of the educational programs 6B01103 “Pedagogy and Psychology” and 6B01801 “Social Pedagogy”.
The thesis defense represents the final stage of professional training and serves as an important indicator of the quality of learning outcomes achieved by students. During the final assessment, graduates demonstrated a high level of professional competencies, research skills, and the ability to analyze contemporary issues in education and the social sphere, as well as to develop practical recommendations for addressing them.
The presented research projects were distinguished by their relevance, scientific rigor, and practical significance. The studies addressed current challenges in pedagogy, psychology, and social pedagogy, reflecting priority directions in the development of education and social support systems.
The quality of graduates’ academic and professional preparation was evaluated by the Attestation Commission chaired by G.M. Kusainov, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences and Leading Research Fellow at the I. Altynsarin National Academy of Education. The Commission also included M.P. Asylbekova, Head of the Department of Pedagogy, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor; N.P. Albytova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor; and G.K. Dlimbetova, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor.
The Commission members highly appreciated the level of students’ preparation, noting their confident command of the research material, ability to present and substantiate research findings, engage in academic discussion, and provide comprehensive responses to experts’ questions.
The successful completion of the thesis defense confirmed the graduates’ readiness for professional activities in the fields of education and social work.
