The Scientific Library invites you to the reading marathon «Vacation with a Book»!

The Scientific Library of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University invites all students, faculty members, and staff to take part in the book reading marathon!

 

Marathon dates: June 10 – August 31, 2026

 

REGULATIONS OF THE MARATHON

 

Participation conditions:

- Students, faculty members, and staff of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University are eligible to participate in the marathon.

- The number of books read is unlimited.

- Reading of fiction literature is required.

- The number of posts and video clips published by participants is unlimited.

 

Publication requirements:

Participants must publish a post or a 2–3 minute video on social media about the book they have read.

 

The post or video must include:

- the title of the book and the name of the author;

- a brief summary of the book or its main idea;

- the participant’s opinion and impressions of the book.

 

All publications must include the following hashtags:

At the end of the marathon, the most active participants will be awarded.

 

Evaluation criteria:

- the content quality and depth of the published post or video;

- the participant’s personal opinion and analysis of the book;

- social media activity (number and regularity of publications);

- creativity and originality of presentation;

- reading culture and literary taste.

 

The best participants will be awarded in September 2026.
