
Library Life: Children in the World of Books

With the aim of promoting a reading culture and fostering an intellectual nation, the scientific library held an educational event for the children of employees entitled "Library Life: Children in the World of Books.”
During the event, the children explored a book exhibition featuring children's literature from the library’s collection and became acquainted with fairy tales and other interesting literary works.
The participants completed various quest-based tasks and actively took part in the games “Continue the Proverb,” “Guess the Literary Character,” and “Who Is Faster?”. In addition, they named famous Kazakh poets and writers and read excerpts from their works, demonstrating their knowledge and resourcefulness.
Young reader Madina Madiyarqyzy spoke about Kazakh folk tales and introduced those present to her favorite characters, while Abunasip Asfandiyar retold the story of the fairy tale “Aldar Kose.” In turn, Azimkhan Akberen shared his impressions of the book “My Name Is Kozha” and spoke about the interesting actions of the main character.
The event program provided the children with vivid impressions, and they expressed warm words of gratitude and best wishes to the library. At the end of the event, all participants received commemorative gifts.
This educational journey into the world of books left the young readers with unforgettable impressions and further strengthened their interest in reading.
