
Professor from Poland Delivers Lectures at L.N. Gumilyov ENU

From June 8 to 12, 2026, the Department of International Law of the Faculty of Law at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University hosted an academic visit by Professor Roman Uliasz from the University of Rzeszów, Poland.
During his visit, Professor Uliasz delivered lectures on "Private International Law" for students enrolled in the educational program "6B04202 – International Law."
The lectures focused on legal concepts in private law, the transplantation of legal concepts across jurisdictions, the impact of multilingualism on legal understanding, and divergent interpretations of legal concepts in company law in different legal systems.
Participants also explored fundamental and jurisdiction-specific concepts of company law, as well as various perspectives on international commercial contracts.
The visit concluded with a case-study workshop organized for faculty members and students, aimed at enhancing practical legal analysis skills.
Professor Uliasz’s visit contributed significantly to strengthening international academic cooperation, promoting the university’s internationalization strategy, and enriching the educational experience of students and faculty members.
