
ENU and Bauman Moscow State Technical University Identify New Areas of Cooperation in Metrology and Engineering Education

L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University and Bauman Moscow State Technical University held an online meeting to discuss the development of cooperation in the fields of metrology, standardization, product quality management, and engineering education.
Welcoming remarks were delivered by Yermek Komekbayev, Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation at ENU, and Kuanysh Yelikbayev, an international expert in technical regulation and metrology.
The discussion brought together representatives of ENU’s Faculty of Transport and Energy and the Department of Standardization, Certification and Metrology, as well as administrators and faculty members from Bauman MSTU’s Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Technologies and the Department of Metrology and Interchangeability.
During the meeting, the participants explored opportunities to expand academic mobility for students and faculty, organize joint research projects, internships, and industrial training programs. Special attention was given to the development of digital metrology, the advancement of standardization processes, and the training of highly qualified engineering professionals.
The participants also discussed prospects for organizing joint scientific and practical conferences, academic competitions, seminars, and other educational events aimed at strengthening scientific and educational cooperation between the two universities.
Following the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their mutual interest in further developing partnership relations and implementing joint educational and research projects.
