Successful defense of a PhD dissertation

A dissertation defense of Zhanar Amangeldievna Musina entitled “Social psychological features of the ethnic identity of youth” was held before the Dissertation Council for the training direction 8D031 – Social Sciences under the educational program 8D03103 – Psychology.

The dissertation research was carried out in line with modern trends in social and ethnopsychology and is devoted to the study of the features of the formation of ethnic identity of young people, the mechanisms of intergroup interaction and the development of tolerance in a multi-ethnic society.

During the defense, the doctoral student presented the main results of the study, demonstrated a high level of theoretical and methodological training, and also gave meaningful answers to questions from members of the dissertation council and reviewers. Scientific consultants noted the scientific novelty, theoretical and practical significance of the study.

According to the results of the voting of the members of the dissertation council, it was unanimously decided to award Musina Zhanar Amangeldievna the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the educational program "8D03103 - Psychology."
