
Scientific internship under the "Cultural Studies" educational program at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National

Third-year PhD students of the Cultural Studies educational program at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Marzhan Uksukbayeva and Lazzat Kushenova, are currently undertaking a research internship at Kastamonu University (Türkiye) as part of their doctoral research projects.
The academic supervisor of the internship is Prof. Dr. Hacı Ahmet Şimşek of Kastamonu University.
During the internship, the doctoral students are working with scholarly resources in the university library, becoming acquainted with the educational and research activities of the faculty, and participating in academic consultations with faculty members regarding their dissertation research.
As part of their study of Türkiye’s sacred and historical-cultural heritage, the doctoral students have visited several significant sites in Kastamonu, including Sultan Hatun Türbesi and Kastamonu Castle, located in the historic part of the city. They also visited the city's most prominent monument, the Şerife Bacı Monument (Şerife Bacı Anıtı), dedicated to the heroism of Turkish women and mothers during the Turkish War of Independence.
The research internship contributes to the development of international academic cooperation, the strengthening of scholarly ties, and the expansion of research perspectives in the field of Cultural Studies.
