
PhD Dissertation Defense of Adina S. Zharlikenova

On 20 June 2026, the doctoral dissertation of Adina S. Zharlikenova, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Accounting and Analysis, was successfully defended in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) under the educational program 8D04105 – Accounting and Auditing.
The dissertation is entitled "Accounting and Analytical Support for the Assessment of Enterprise Investment Attractiveness."
Scientific Supervisor: Gulnara D. Amanova, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Professor.
The research developed a methodological approach to assessing enterprise investment attractiveness based on the integration of financial and non-financial information. It also proposes an original model of accounting and analytical support and a methodological approach to the integrated assessment of investment attractiveness, enabling a comprehensive evaluation of an enterprise's ability to create value in the long term.
Following the public defense, the dissertation received a positive evaluation from the members of the Dissertation Council. The research findings demonstrate scientific novelty and practical significance and can be applied in the activities of industrial enterprises, as well as in investment analysis, auditing, and strategic management.
