The professional retraining course for teachers of preschool organizations has been completed

The Institute of Continuing Education of the L.N. Gumilyov ENU organized the course "Professional retraining of preschool teachers" in online and offline format.

The course program of 180 academic hours included 4 modules and was aimed at improving the professional competencies of preschool education teachers. 31 people took part in the training - educators and heads of public and private preschool organizations in Atyrau, Astana, Almaty and Shymkent.

At the end of the course, two scientific and methodological articles were published by the students, and two more articles were recommended for publication. The Rector of ENU and the leadership of the Institute of Continuing Education received letters of thanks from the course participants.

During the training, students were provided with electronic versions of lecture materials, practical classes were accompanied by handouts, and feedback was regularly provided. Modern educational technologies and teaching methods were widely used in the educational process: review and dialogue lectures, seminars, multimedia presentations, videos, webinars, discussion platforms, case technologies and master classes. The practical part of the course was supplemented with field trips and study tours to kindergarten No. 5 "Akbota" in Astana.

The course content reflected current changes in the system of preschool education and training and was focused on providing educators with modern methodological approaches and practical tools for professional activities.

As part of the practical block, the participants got acquainted with modern models of the organization of the subject-spatial development environment. The best practices of kindergarten No. 95 "Almaty", as well as preschool organizations "Karlygash" and No. 5 "Akbota" were studied. The audience was presented with innovative educational projects and game technologies, including "Ziyatker Academies", "Town of Professions", "Bala Mergen", "Bestemshe" and "Bestemshe on the playground". Of particular interest were modern solutions for the organization of educational space — "talking wall", "talking ceiling" and "talking floor".

Special attention was also paid to the issues of inclusive education during the training. The participants got acquainted with modern approaches to creating an educational environment for children with special educational needs. The work plans of the Center for Inclusive Education and the Izgilik Nury laboratory were presented, the experience of organizing music and sports halls, as well as equipping creative and story-role-playing game centers was demonstrated.

At the end of the training, the students noted the high professional level of the teaching staff, the relevance of the course content and its practical significance. The participants emphasized that the acquired knowledge and skills will be actively used in further professional activities.

The course has become an important platform for the professional growth of preschool education teachers, the exchange of experience and the development of modern educational practices that contribute to improving the quality of preschool education and training.
