Kuralay Oralbekovna Oralbekova successfully defended doctoral dissertation

On 22 June 2026, L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University hosted the dissertation defense of Kuralay Oralbekovna Oralbekova for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the educational programme "6D011700 – Kazakh Language and Literature." The dissertation was entitled "Formation of Students' Language Personality (Based on the Works of Abai)." The dissertation was completed at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. 

The purpose of the research was to develop a speech development methodology based on level-oriented creative tasks aimed at forming students' language personality through the study of Abai's literary heritage. The research substantiated the linguodidactic foundations of language personality formation in a multilingual educational environment and proposed an effective methodological framework for developing learners' cognitive, linguistic, and creative competencies. 

The domestic scientific supervisor was Professor Shynar Kapantaykyzy, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, while the foreign scientific consultant was Professor Nergiz Biray (PhD), Pamukkale University, Türkiye. 

Following the voting procedure, the Dissertation Council decided to award Kuralay Oralbekovna Oralbekova the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the field of "8D017 – Teacher Training in Languages and Literature."
