
Head of the Tourism Department at ENU Receives Commemorative Edition of Kazakhstan’s New Constitution

A ceremonial presentation of the commemorative edition of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The special editions were presented to participants by the Minister of Tourism and Sports, Yerbol Myrzabossynov.
Addressing the audience, the Minister noted that the new Constitution marks an important milestone in building a Just Kazakhstan by reinforcing the principles of the rule of law, responsibility, and social unity.
“The Constitution is the solid foundation of our statehood. It defines the country's strategic development and guarantees the rights of every citizen. It is essential that the principles of justice, legality, and responsibility are reflected not only in the work of state institutions but also in everyday life, including the fields of sports and tourism. Respect for the law, honest work, and service to one’s country form the basis of a strong and prosperous Kazakhstan,” said Yerbol Myrzabossynov.
Commemorative copies of the Constitution were presented to representatives of the sports sector, heads of industry organizations, distinguished athletes, sports veterans, as well as professionals from the tourism sector who have made significant contributions to the development of the industry.
Among the recipients was Lyaylya Mutaliyeva, Head of the Department of Tourism at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
“The new Constitution highlights the vital role of education, development, and young people in shaping our country's future. Through education, we prepare competent, responsible, and proactive professionals who will contribute to Kazakhstan’s development. Today, it is essential to provide young people with opportunities to receive a quality education, acquire professional skills, build successful careers, and realize their ideas. It is the younger generation that will play a key role in advancing a Just Kazakhstan,” emphasized Lyaylya Mutaliyeva.
It should be noted that the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan was adopted following the national referendum held on March 15, 2026, and entered into force on July 1, 2026.
