
Research Visit to the State Archive of Pavlodar Region

In accordance with the research program plan titled “Analysis of the Standard of Living of the Population in the Context of Political Changes of 1918–1920: The Case of Eastern Kazakhstan,” a research trip to the State Archive of Pavlodar Region was organized from June 17 to June 27, 2026.
During the trip, archival documents from the Civil War period were examined, systematized by thematic areas, and selected as sources for further scientific analysis.
The research trip was attended by the project leader, Associate Professor of the Department of Political Science G.S. Abdrakhmanova, and the chief researcher of the project, Associate Professor of the Department of Political Science T.S. Kalenova.
The main objective of the trip was to study, based on archival data, the administrative and socio-economic factors that influenced the standard of living of the population during the period of political transformations in the East Kazakhstan region in 1918–1920.
As part of the research project, scientific work was also carried out at the Pavlodar Regional Museum of History and Local Lore named after G.N. Potanin. Research data were collected through the study of historical photographic materials preserved in the museum's collections.
The archival data obtained during the visit provided significant and valuable information relevant to the topic of the research project.
