A training seminar on "The History Educational Program: Challenges and Prospects" was held at the Department of History of Kazakhstan with the participation of representatives of employer organizations

On June 26, 2026, the Department of History of Kazakhstan at the Faculty of History of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University held a training seminar on the topic "The History Educational Program: Challenges and Prospects," which was attended by representatives of employer organizations

The seminar was attended by Sagila Nurlanova, Director of the National Archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Zhangeldibimoldin Berzhanovich, Director of the State Archives of the City of Astana; Ganiy Mukashevich Karasaev, Head of the Department of Source Studies and History of the Fatherland at the Institute of State History of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Mayra Amanbekovna Mayekbayeva, Scientific Secretary of the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan; and Kamshat Pazylovna Parimbekova, Head of the Department of Research Organization at the Center for Manuscripts and Rare Books In his opening remarks, Beisenbay Ardak Bakytovich, a member of the Board and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at L.N. Gumilev Eurasian National University, emphasized the importance of employer organizations in the educational process and expressed gratitude for the high-quality work being carried out with the university.

The leaders of the employer organizations noted that the Department of History of Kazakhstan at L.N. Gumilev Eurasian National University has conducted a number of events and plans for the future in close cooperation with the university Gulnura Rakhatovna Smagulova, Head of the Career and Business Partnership Department, Zhabay Nurmakovich Kaliyev, Head of the Secretariat of the National Congress of Historians, and Asel Serikovna Amanova, Director of the Foundation Department at the L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Candidate of Historical Sciences, also spoke about the importance of future historians in modern society

During the seminar, the event's moderator, Kuralai Otaubayevna Seitkazina, Head of the Department of History of Kazakhstan, highlighted the positive results of the department's collaboration with employer organizations in addressing issues related to the place of the "History" educational program in the labor market, the organization of educational and work practices, digital professional development in the fields of history, archival studies, and museum management, and the introduction of new elective disciplines into the educational program
