Over 20 thousand applicants of the country chose ENU for their studies

Eurasian National University has completed a campaign to accept documents for participation in the educational grant competition, which lasted from July 13 to July 20.  According to the admission results, 20,000 applicants from all over the country chose Eurasian National University to study on a grant.

The most popular specialties among applicants are Pedagogy, IT, Law, Business and Management, as well as Civil Engineering.  

It is worth noting that this year the threshold scores for admission to the university range from 90 to 127, depending on the educational program. Despite this, the number of people willing to study at The L.N. Gumilyov ENU is growing every year. This is an indicator of the quality of education, the professional level of the teaching staff, as well as the high competitiveness of university graduates.

"The admission campaign is organized according to the plan. All conditions have been created for accepting documents online and face-to-face. The technical secretaries of the admissions committee advised the applicants on the necessary issues. Now they will be waiting for the results of the competition. The list of grant holders will be published by August 10 within the time limits approved by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 

The innovation of the current admission campaign is to maximize the digitalization of public services and enhance the interaction of information systems. The integration of the eGov portal, the Unified Higher Education Platform and Information Base, and the National Testing Center accelerated the process of admission and verification of applicants’ documents, as well as ensured the correctness of the data.     

The stable operation of electronic services has had a positive impact on transparency, openness, accessibility and efficiency of the document acceptance stage," Lyazzat Egeubayeva, Executive Secretary of the Admission Committee of The L.N. Gumilyov ENU said.

It should be noted that for the 2026-2027 academic year, over 72,000 state educational grants have been allocated for undergraduate studies. The largest number of grants were allocated to groups of educational programs in the field of engineering, manufacturing and construction industries – 16,674 units, pedagogical sciences - 12,228 grants, information and communication technology - 10,387 grants, as well as natural sciences, mathematics and statistics – 9,188 grants.
