Students from 18 Countries Admitted to ENU under the Scholarship Program

Fifty-three international students from 18 countries have been admitted to L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University under Kazakhstan’s scholarship program for international students.
This year, the University increased the number of international scholarship recipients and expanded the geography of its admissions.
For the first time, citizens of Algeria, Bangladesh, Indonesia, the Maldives, Morocco, and Palestine will study at ENU. In addition, the University welcomed students from Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Belarus, China, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, the Republic of Korea, Russia, Turkmenistan, the United Arab Emirates, and Uzbekistan.
The expansion of the University's international reach is the result of ENU’s long-term participation in the Study in Kazakhstan education fairs organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan in China, Indonesia, and Azerbaijan, as well as international education exhibitions held in Tajikistan and Mongolia.
International applicants choose ENU for its strong positions in global university rankings, distinguished academic staff, well-developed research ecosystem, and the opportunities offered by studying in Kazakhstan’s capital, Astana.
In the latest edition of the QS World University Rankings, ENU climbed 106 positions in the International Students indicator. The steady growth in the number of international students is also reflected in the Times Higher Education rankings.
