1 825 ENU Master’s Students Awarded State Educational Grants

Following the results of the 2026 competition for state educational grants, 1,825 applicants who selected L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (ENU) were awarded educational grants to pursue a master’s degree.

This year, applications to participate in the competition for educational grants for master’s studies funded by the republican budget were accepted from August 12 to 18.

As part of the competition, 2,828 applications were submitted through ENU. In addition, a high level of demand for ENU’s educational programmes was observed among applicants across the country. Under the state-funded admission scheme covering 70 groups of educational programmes, applicants indicated ENU as:

3,973 applicants - their first choice;

2,778 applicants - their second choice;

1,539 applicants - their third choice.

Thus, more than 8,000 applicants included ENU among their preferred universities.

This figure is a clear indication of the high level of trust in and demand for the university’s quality of education, academic environment, and master’s programmes.

Following the competition, 1,825 applicants were admitted to ENU’s master’s programmes with state educational grants. In addition, 4 applicants were admitted under grants provided by local executive bodies, more than 200 applicants were admitted on a fee-paying basis, and 6 applicants were admitted through scholarship programmes.
