
The Transport and Energy Faculty Held Its First Faculty Council Meeting of the New Academic Year

The Transport and Energy Faculty of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University held its first Faculty Council meeting of the 2026–2027 academic year.
The meeting was chaired by the Dean of the Faculty, Umirzhan Sheraliyevich. The meeting was attended by heads of departments, academic staff, and responsible faculty members.
The meeting addressed the key areas of preparation for the new academic year, as well as current issues related to the organization of the educational process, staffing, and the formation of the student body.
Particular attention was paid to the effective organization of the educational process, implementation of educational programs, student enrollment and retention, enhancement of the quality of education, and improvement of students’ academic performance and achievements.
The participants also discussed measures aimed at improving the overall effectiveness of the Faculty, strengthening the professional capacity of academic staff, intensifying research activities, and creating a favorable academic environment for students.
The Dean of the Faculty, Umirzhan Sheraliyevich, emphasized the importance of ensuring the high-quality and timely implementation of the objectives set for the new academic year. He noted that coordinated teamwork is one of the key factors contributing to the Faculty’s further development and the achievement of high performance outcomes.
Following the meeting, the Faculty’s priority objectives for the upcoming period were identified, and relevant assignments were given to the responsible staff members. Specific proposals aimed at ensuring the systematic and effective organization of the Faculty’s activities during the new academic year were also considered.
Throughout the 2026–2027 academic year, the Transport and Energy Faculty will continue its efforts to enhance the quality of education, train competitive specialists in line with contemporary requirements, advance research activities, and expand educational opportunities for students.
