The Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering Welcomes First-Year Students

On September 1, Knowledge Day, the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering held a welcoming ceremony for first-year students. The first day of the new academic year marked the beginning of a new stage in the university life of the first-year students. Throughout their studies, students will receive quality education in the field of construction, master their chosen specialties, and contribute to the development of the country’s construction industry.

The ceremony was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor E. E. Sabitov, as well as the Heads of the Faculty’s departments.

The Faculty administration congratulated the students who had entered the university for the first time on the beginning of the new academic year and wished them good health, perseverance, continuous pursuit of knowledge, and success in their new endeavors. The students were also encouraged to take an active part in university life and approach their studies responsibly. Following the ceremony, the first-year students were introduced to the respective departments according to their educational programs, where they met the Heads of the departments and members of the academic teaching staff. The students also met their academic advisors, and orientation sessions were held within their academic groups. During these sessions, students received important information about the educational process, the university’s internal regulations, educational programs, and student life. Academic group representatives were also appointed.

The meeting included activities aimed at helping first-year students adapt quickly to the university environment and successfully integrate into the educational process.
