Professional Legal Assistance Provided to Citizens at ENU

L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University hosted a public legal consultation organized at the initiative of the ENU Legal Clinic. Representatives of leading legal organizations in the capital took part in the event and provided citizens with professional consultations on a range of legal issues.

The consultations were held within the framework of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Department of Justice of Astana, the Astana City Bar Association, the Astana Notarial Chamber, the Regional Chamber of Private Bailiffs, and ENU.

Residents of the capital received qualified legal assistance on criminal, civil, and administrative matters. During individual consultations, specialists carefully reviewed citizens’ requests, explained relevant legislation, possible ways to protect their rights, and further steps to be taken in specific legal situations.

The consultations were conducted by attorneys of the Astana City Bar Association Marzhan Dauytova, Aigul Zhunusova, Fatima Bersanova, Gauhar Kaliakparova, Danara Sagnai, and Bayan Aitykova, as well as private bailiff Nazyagul Abzhamieva.

During the consultations, citizens received detailed explanations regarding the legal issues that concerned them, learned about possible ways to protect their rights, and received guidance on further actions in specific legal situations.

Such initiatives are an important part of the Legal Clinic’s activities and contribute to improving legal literacy and legal awareness among the public, as well as increasing access to qualified legal assistance.

The ENU Legal Clinic continues to strengthen cooperation with the professional legal community, creating opportunities for citizens to receive practical legal support while enabling students to gain valuable hands-on experience by working with real legal cases and requests.
