ENU Vice-Rector Saparkhodzhayev Tours Institute of Natural Sciences

On 11 September 2026, Board Member and Vice-Rector for Science and Commercialization Nurbek Saparkhodzhayev visited the Institute of Natural Sciences as part of an introductory tour. The Vice-Rector inspected the research laboratories of the Department of Chemistry (the Research Institute of New Chemical Technologies, the Green Technologies Research Laboratory, and the Petrochemistry and Polymer Materials Laboratory), as well as research units and laboratories in the biotechnology, biology, and ecology fields of the Institute. He also toured the teaching laboratories of the Institute's educational and laboratory center. Following the visit, a round table was held with scientists and heads of departments of the Institute of Natural Sciences, during which current research projects, plans for developing the laboratory infrastructure, and issues of research commercialization were discussed. The Vice-Rector heard the questions and suggestions raised by the Institute's staff.
