The programme, which will run until September 19, focuses on international approaches to quality assurance in higher education and the accreditation of educational programmes. On the first day, participants discussed their professional responsibilities and expectations for the course, as well as opportunities for further development of Kazakhstan’s higher education system and ENU. They began studying ASIIN accreditation criteria, including subject-specific criteria and their application in the evaluation of educational programmes. Representatives of the departments also presented their educational programmes, highlighting their distinctive features and approaches to preparing future professionals.
In the coming days, participants will study SWOT analysis methodology and apply it to assess the strengths and weaknesses of educational programmes, identify opportunities for further development, and evaluate potential risks.
The programme also includes visits to the Georg Agricola University of Applied Sciences in Bochum and Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences in Kleve. These visits will provide participants with an opportunity to learn about the universities’ experience in organizing the educational process and ensuring the quality of higher education.
