“Listen, Understand, Interact”: ENU Holds a Team-Building Event for Staff

The Psychological Support Center of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University organized a team-building event for deputy deans and university staff at the Tumar Educational and Wellness Complex. The programme included a training session titled “Me and Others: Listening, Understanding, and Interacting” and an art therapy masterclass.

The event aimed to encourage positive interaction among staff, strengthen team relationships, and develop mutual support, trust, and coordinated action through practical exercises.

The first part of the programme took place in a woodland setting. Participants completed exercises focused on listening to and understanding one another, as well as working together. The relaxed outdoor atmosphere offered colleagues an opportunity to step away from their daily work routines and get to know one another better.

The programme continued with an art therapy masterclass led by invited specialist Akmaral Abdikaharkyzy, an art therapist, artist and educator. The creative activities allowed participants to express their thoughts and feelings through art, adding an enjoyable dimension to the event.

The event focused on encouraging open communication and mutual support while strengthening trust and cooperation among colleagues.
